Contemporary Extension Co. Louth

The aim of this project was to design a contemporary extension to the existing two-storey detached dwelling that would accommodate the needs of a vibrant, modern family and create a seamless connection between the house and its garden. The single storey extension contains an open plan kitchen/living/dining area. It is a haven for natural light with fully glazed walls on all three sides and four large roof lights in the roof, allowing more natural light into the original kitchen space. The concertina doors which span over ten metres open fully along the rear elevation of the extension. This links the interior with the exterior creating a supreme sense of space. View
